The Finnish Museum of Photography and Transeurope project will arrange Helsinki Potfolio Review, and international portfolio meeting for photographic artists and experts in the field of photography on May 16–18, 2018, in Helsinki, Finland. The aim of the event is to introduce the photographers and experts to each other and create a platform for discussions on photography. And in the meanwhile cherish the art of it.
During these days, the 70 artists selected have an opportunity to meet experts personally, show their work, talk about their plans, future goals and get feedback. Each of the one-on-one discussions lasts 20 minutes.There is a particular emphasis on dialogue.
The Finnish Museum of Photography is a national special museum of photography that has been running portfolio reviews annually since 2009.
During the whole week before and after the Portfolio meetings, there will be other events, talks, discussions and studio visits. Please follow the updated program.
