Personal assistants and assistance dogs

Personal assistants may enter free of charge. Guide or assistance dogs are allowed in the museum.


Accessibility

The doors of the vestibule leading to the exhibition space on the first floor are not yet motorised. The ticket sales staff will help if necessary. The exhibition spaces are located on two floors, with a lift between them.

 

Induction loop

There is no induction loop system available in the museum.
 

Language options

The exhibition texts are available in Finnish, Swedish and English.
 

Restrooms

An accessible toilet is located in the museum lobby. All toilets are gender-neutral.
 

Child care facilities

The restrooms have been equipped to make child care easier for museum visitors. There is a baby changing station as well as a potty and a step stool for small children.
 

Resting areas

Chairs for resting are located in the museum lobby. Portable chairs are also available to borrow and can be taken into the exhibition spaces.
 

Cloakroom

There are lockers that can be locked and used free of charge as well as an unattended cloakroom in the museum lobby.
 

Parking

With regard to escort parking, it is possible to stop and park on Tammasaarenkatu. Taxis can stop and leave their passengers on the corner of the museums.
